Luis Armando D\u00edaz sostuvo una reuni\u00f3n con el rector de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Baja California Sur (UABCS), Dr. Dante Salgado Gonz\u00e1lez, con miras a trabajar conjuntamente en la organizaci\u00f3n de un foro estatal tanto en materia de prevenci\u00f3n y atenci\u00f3n de riesgos como de protecci\u00f3n civil, mismo que, de manera tentativa, se estar\u00eda celebrando hacia el mes de mayo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">En compa\u00f1\u00eda del Dip. Armando Mart\u00ednez Vega y la Dip. Lorena Marbella Gonz\u00e1lez D\u00edaz, en su calidad de secretarios, el presidente de la comisi\u00f3n legislativa explic\u00f3 que este acercamiento se debe a que la UABCS tiene un programa educativo que atiende lo referente a la protecci\u00f3n de desastres y protecci\u00f3n civil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Por consiguiente, cuenta con amplia experiencia en el tema y sus aportaciones desde la academia e investigaci\u00f3n ser\u00e1n sumamente valiosas no s\u00f3lo para que el evento sea sustancioso en contenido, sino para conformar tambi\u00e9n una agenda de trabajo que contenga diferentes l\u00edneas de acci\u00f3n en la materia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\u201cNuestra intenci\u00f3n es difundir entre la ciudadan\u00eda la importancia del tema de protecci\u00f3n civil, pero tambi\u00e9n queremos ir m\u00e1s all\u00e1, es decir, armonizar la ley con el marco federal, a la par de dise\u00f1ar un instrumento jur\u00eddico que le sirva a BCS. De igual forma, abordar la conformaci\u00f3n de mapas de riesgo y, en general, contar con materiales pertinentes para aplicar una gesti\u00f3n integral\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">De tal modo que, en opini\u00f3n del legislador, con el apoyo de la m\u00e1xima casa de estudios en la entidad podr\u00e1n legitimar estos esfuerzos y, sobre todo, trazar una ruta que permita salvaguardar la integridad f\u00edsica y patrimonial de las personas que radican en Baja California Sur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, el Dr. Dante Salgado dio a conocer que la UABCS es la \u00fanica instituci\u00f3n en el estado que cuenta con una carrera que atienda la prevenci\u00f3n de desastres naturales y la protecci\u00f3n civil, misma que se cre\u00f3 inmediatamente despu\u00e9s de las consecuencias que caus\u00f3 el hurac\u00e1n \u201cOdile\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Comparti\u00f3 con el grupo parlamentario la idea de atender la cultura de la prevenci\u00f3n y protecci\u00f3n, algo que la universidad hace en el marco de su responsabilidad social, al formar cuadros especializados y al m\u00e1s alto nivel, orientados a las necesidades de nuestra media pen\u00ednsula.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Todas estas fortalezas, el rector las puso a disposici\u00f3n del Congreso del Estado, pues le da la oportunidad a la instituci\u00f3n educativa de cumplir con una de sus funciones sustantivas que es la vinculaci\u00f3n, al igual que con su pol\u00edtica de responsabilidad social universitaria al extender sus servicios en beneficio de la comunidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Durante el encuentro, quienes integran la comisi\u00f3n legislativa conocieron algunas de las din\u00e1micas llevadas a cabo por la Ingenier\u00eda en Prevenci\u00f3n de Desastres Naturales y Protecci\u00f3n Civil, la cual cuenta actualmente con una matr\u00edcula de 82 estudiantes y una primera generaci\u00f3n egresada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">De acuerdo con la responsable del programa, Mtra. Erika Torres Ochoa, en el poco tiempo de la carrera su poblaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica ha participado en actividades convocadas por diferentes instancias, involucr\u00e1ndose en simulacros de derrame de hidrocarburos o tsunamis, en foros de divulgaci\u00f3n para instituciones de nivel medio superior, asesor\u00edas sobre manejo de residuos en laboratorios u operativos convocados por Protecci\u00f3n Civil, entre otras.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Paz, Baja California Sur.- La Comisi\u00f3n de Protecci\u00f3n Civil del Honorable Congreso del Estado que preside el Dip.
