{"id":134475,"date":"2024-03-01T16:33:02","date_gmt":"2024-03-01T23:33:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nbcs.mx\/?p=134475"},"modified":"2024-03-01T16:33:13","modified_gmt":"2024-03-01T23:33:13","slug":"continuan-muestreos-en-seguimiento-epidemiologico-de-melioidosis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nbcs.mx\/?p=134475","title":{"rendered":"Contin\u00faan muestreos en seguimiento epidemiol\u00f3gico de melioidosis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-134476 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/nbcs.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/FOTO-REALIZAN-SERIE-DE-MUESTREOS-EN-SEGUIMIENTO-738x492.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"317\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nbcs.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/FOTO-REALIZAN-SERIE-DE-MUESTREOS-EN-SEGUIMIENTO-738x492.jpeg 738w, https:\/\/nbcs.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/FOTO-REALIZAN-SERIE-DE-MUESTREOS-EN-SEGUIMIENTO-150x100.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/nbcs.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/FOTO-REALIZAN-SERIE-DE-MUESTREOS-EN-SEGUIMIENTO-768x512.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/nbcs.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/FOTO-REALIZAN-SERIE-DE-MUESTREOS-EN-SEGUIMIENTO.jpeg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 317px) 100vw, 317px\" \/>Con la asistencia t\u00e9cnica de especialistas de la Escuela Nacional de Ciencias Biol\u00f3gicas del Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico Nacional (IPN), la Secretar\u00eda de Salud de Baja California Sur llev\u00f3 a cabo una jornada de toma de muestras de agua y suelo en diversos puntos de la ciudad de La Paz, como parte de la vigilancia epidemiol\u00f3gica de la bacteria <em>Burkholderia pseudomallei<\/em>, que es causante de la enfermedad conocida como Melioidosis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Estos procedimientos se desarrollaron con total apego a los criterios t\u00e9cnicos establecidos por organismos internacionales y por la autoridad sanitaria federal, en los domicilios de los cinco casos confirmados por este padecimiento, as\u00ed como en otros sitios estrat\u00e9gicos, como parte de las acciones para fortalecer las medidas de prevenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Dichas muestras se canalizaron al Laboratorio Estatal de Salud P\u00fablica (LESP) que cuenta con personal calificado y con los insumos necesarios para hacer los an\u00e1lisis espec\u00edficos que determinan la presencia o ausencia del pat\u00f3geno, mismos que arrojar\u00e1n resultados en un periodo no mayor de una semana, los cuales ser\u00e1n contrastados con los resultados de los estudios que de manera paralela realizar\u00e1n los investigadores del IPN.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Esto permitir\u00e1 fortalecer la implementaci\u00f3n de medidas preventivas, entre las que destaca la comunicaci\u00f3n de riesgos a la poblaci\u00f3n en general, con \u00e9nfasis en personas que tienen mayor vulnerabilidad ante la presencia de la bacteria, como son quienes padecen enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas que debilitan el sistema inmune, especialmente la diabetes, as\u00ed como quienes tienen un consumo frecuente de alcohol.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">La Secretar\u00eda de Salud exhorta a la poblaci\u00f3n a evitar el contacto con suelo, agua contaminada y\/o estancada, especialmente despu\u00e9s de lluvias; usar botas impermeables durante y despu\u00e9s de inundaciones o tormentas para prevenir esta y otras infecciones. Proteger heridas abiertas, cortes o quemaduras.
