\"\"Acompa\u00f1ado del comisionado Nacional de Pesca y Acuacultura, Octavio Almada Palafox, el gobernador V\u00edctor Manuel Castro Cos\u00edo, se reuni\u00f3 con pescadores ribere\u00f1os de la comunidad de Las Barancas, en el municipio de Comond\u00fa, con quienes acord\u00f3 que ser\u00e1 una embarcaci\u00f3n de la Secretar\u00eda de Marina Armada de M\u00e9xico e investigadores mexicanos quienes realizar\u00e1n monitoreo para determinar las causas de mortandad de la tortuga amarilla en el Golfo de Ulloa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Castro Cos\u00edo confirm\u00f3 que, despu\u00e9s de varias reuniones con instituciones federales, y a petici\u00f3n de los mismos pescadores, se acord\u00f3 que no ser\u00e1 la embarcaci\u00f3n extranjera Sea Shepherd quien lleve a cabo los estudios e investigaci\u00f3n; y esta se har\u00e1 con recursos, cient\u00edficos e investigadores nacionales, lo que subraya la importancia de proteger la soberan\u00eda y las pr\u00e1cticas pesqueras locales, mientras se busca una certificaci\u00f3n positiva de esta zona mar\u00edtima por parte de la National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) de Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Confirm\u00f3 todo su respaldo a las y los pescadores ribere\u00f1os de Baja California Sur, sin reservas, y no se permitir\u00e1 beneficiar a otros intereses que no sean la patria, y los pescadores son parte de ella, por lo que se continuar\u00e1 fortaleciendo a este sector.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Por su parte, el comisionado Nacional de Pesca y Acuacultura, Octavio Almada Palafox, apunt\u00f3 que se suma a la defensa del sector pesquero, por lo que se continuar\u00e1 trabajando y avanzando en el tema de investigaci\u00f3n con cient\u00edficos comprometidos, para mantener el control sobre nuestras aguas territoriales y los recursos naturales.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

La certificaci\u00f3n de la NOAA es crucial para M\u00e9xico, ya que garantiza que las pr\u00e1cticas pesqueras en esa zona cumplan con los est\u00e1ndares internacionales de sostenibilidad y conservaci\u00f3n marina.
