Roberto Higuera, titular del \u00e1rea, subray\u00f3 que la cantidad de basura recolectada aument\u00f3 en un 49.32% en comparaci\u00f3n con el a\u00f1o anterior, lo que significa que se retiraron m\u00e1s de 20 toneladas adicionales este 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Indic\u00f3 que el notable aumento se atribuye a una mayor cantidad de visitantes locales y turistas en playas y costas de La Paz, as\u00ed como a la falta de conciencia ambiental que existe por parte de quienes dejan basura en espacios p\u00fablicos. Por estos motivos, Zofemat intensific\u00f3 las jornadas de limpieza logrando obtener los siguientes resultados:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">En julio se recolectaron 37,454 kg y en agosto 24,770 kg, sumando un total de 62,224 kg. Esta cifra es mucho mayor que la de 2024, cuando en los mismos meses se retiraron 41,670 kg de basura (22,700 kg en julio y 18,970 kg en agosto). Esto representa una diferencia de 20,554 kg, o 20 toneladas adicionales en un solo a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\u201cEste incremento no es solo una cifra, es un reflejo de nuestra relaci\u00f3n con el medio ambiente. Mientras las playas se llenan de personas, la cantidad de basura tambi\u00e9n crece. A pesar de eso, nuestro compromiso como Ayuntamiento permanece\u201d, declar\u00f3 Roberto Higuera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Finalmente, el titular de Zofemat La Paz hizo un llamado a la comunidad para sumarse al cuidado de las playas. \u00abLa limpieza de nuestras playas es tarea de todos. La belleza de nuestras costas es un privilegio que ciertamente todos podemos disfrutar pero que a su vez debemos proteger\u00bb, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Agreg\u00f3 que, \u201ccada papel, lata, botella o colilla que se deja atr\u00e1s se convierte en una amenaza para el ecosistema.
