El Gobierno del Estado, a trav\u00e9s de la Secretar\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n P\u00fablica (SEP) de Baja California Sur, atiende el crecimiento de la matr\u00edcula en educaci\u00f3n secundaria en el municipio de Los Cabos, mediante la ampliaci\u00f3n de la infraestructura educativa.<\/p>\n

\n

En este contexto, la directora de Educaci\u00f3n Secundaria de la SEP, Ofelia Ochoa Romero, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que en la actual administraci\u00f3n la matr\u00edcula en este nivel registr\u00f3 un crecimiento de 18 mil 818 a 20 mil 770 estudiantes, lo que ha requerido fortalecer la capacidad instalada en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\n

El n\u00famero de aulas increment\u00f3 de 662 a 704, mientras que los planteles pasaron de 66 a 79, lo que ha contribuido a reforzar la atenci\u00f3n a las necesidades educativas en este municipio.<\/p>\n

\n

A nivel estatal se brinda atenci\u00f3n a m\u00e1s de 41 mil alumnas y alumnos de secundaria, con el objetivo de que concluyan este nivel educativo y contin\u00faen su formaci\u00f3n en la educaci\u00f3n media superior.<\/p>\n

\n

Asimismo, la servidora p\u00fablica estatal destac\u00f3 que docentes, directivos y supervisores participan de manera permanente en procesos de capacitaci\u00f3n para consolidar los aprendizajes, conforme al modelo de la Nueva Escuela Mexicana, mediante la implementaci\u00f3n de comunidades de aprendizaje en secundarias generales, t\u00e9cnicas y telesecundarias de los cinco municipios.<\/p>\n

\n

Finalmente, agreg\u00f3 que para ampliar la cobertura en Los Cabos se construy\u00f3 la Escuela Secundaria General No. 8 en Cabo San Lucas, un plantel en el predio La Ballena en San Jos\u00e9 del Cabo, as\u00ed como extensiones de telesecundaria en las comunidades de El Campamento y Migri\u00f1o.<\/p>\n
