Durante el evento, la alcaldesa en funciones, Amor Fenech Monta\u00f1o recalc\u00f3 que el objetivo es fortalecer la autonom\u00eda econ\u00f3mica de las mujeres e impulsar su participaci\u00f3n en las actividades productivas y tradicionales de Baja California Sur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El evento organizado por el Ayuntamiento de La Paz, a trav\u00e9s del Instituto Municipal de las Mujeres (IMM), en coordinaci\u00f3n con el Fondo para la Protecci\u00f3n de los Recursos Marinos (FONMAR) cont\u00f3 con una bolsa garantizada de 30 mil pesos. El primer lugar recibi\u00f3 un premio de 7 mil pesos, el segundo lugar 5 mil pesos y el tercero 3 mil pesos, adem\u00e1s de entregarse 15 premios adicionales de mil pesos cada uno.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las ganadoras fueron Sugey Itzayana, quien obtuvo el primer lugar; Guadalupe Medina Mendoza, en la segunda posici\u00f3n; y Karla Yoselin Ar\u00e9valos, quien logr\u00f3 el tercer lugar. La especie capturada durante la competencia fue cabrilla.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Presidenta Municipal en funciones manifest\u00f3 que \u201ceste torneo de pesca \u2018Marea Violeta\u2019, en su primera edici\u00f3n reuni\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 200 mujeres y ni\u00f1as que participaron en una de las actividades tradicionales de nuestro Estado, que es la pesca\u201d.
