Durante el enlace con la presidenta de M\u00e9xico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, el gobernador de Baja California Sur, V\u00edctor Manuel Castro Cos\u00edo, estuvo presente en el anuncio de la estrategia de los Consultorios del Servicio Universal de Salud (SUS), mediante la cual la entidad contar\u00e1 con 165 consultorios distribuidos en sus cinco municipios.<\/p>\n

\n

La iniciativa nacional tiene como prop\u00f3sito brindar servicios m\u00e9dicos a la poblaci\u00f3n, independientemente de su derechohabiencia, con presencia tanto en localidades rurales como en zonas urbanas.<\/p>\n

\n

En Baja California Sur se contemplan 61 consultorios en La Paz, 35 en Los Cabos, 31 en Comond\u00fa, 26 en Muleg\u00e9 y 7 en Loreto, para un total de 160. A estos se suman cinco espacios que ser\u00e1n operados directamente por el Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE), con lo que se alcanza la cifra de 165.<\/p>\n

\n

De acuerdo con la informaci\u00f3n presentada, 89 de los consultorios considerados en la distribuci\u00f3n municipal estar\u00e1n ubicados en zonas rurales y 71 en \u00e1reas urbanas, favoreciendo principalmente a comunidades donde el acceso a servicios m\u00e9dicos ha representado mayores dificultades.<\/p>\n

\n

A nivel nacional, la estrategia contempla 12 mil 750 puntos SUS, como parte de las acciones para ampliar la presencia de servicios de salud en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

\n

Para Baja California Sur, esta incorporaci\u00f3n representa un avance en la atenci\u00f3n de primer nivel y permitir\u00e1 contar con nuevos espacios para la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios m\u00e9dicos en los cinco municipios.<\/p>\n

\n

El Gobernador V\u00edctor Castro Cos\u00edo destac\u00f3 la coordinaci\u00f3n con el Gobierno de M\u00e9xico para impulsar acciones que contribuyan al bienestar de las familias sudcalifornianas.<\/p>\n
